Moris E Workman

July 14, 1935 — August 25, 2022

Morris E. “Morrie” Workman, 87, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away at the Hillcrest Grand Lodge on August 25, 2022. He was born on July 14, 1935, in Clearwater, Nebraska to Eugene and Caroline (Zieren) Workman. Morris married Sharon Davidson on April 26, 1952, in St. Edward, NE.

For over fifty years, Morris worked for Wilson Concrete, many of those as the Vice President of Heavy Division.  He was also an active member of the American Concrete Pipe Association where he served a term as Chairman. His most enjoyable moments were spent with his wife of 69 years his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Morris is survived by his daughters Rona (Greg) Vandell and Rinda (Lynn) Rehmeier, son, Todd (Valerie) Workman, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Sharon, two granddaughters Annie and Angel, two sisters Marie Keefer and Pat Reitz, and one brother Whitey Workman.

A Celebration of Life for Morris & Sharon Workman will be Saturday, September 17, 2022, the family will greet friends from 3-5 PM at the Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, NE. Burial will be held later at the Evergreen Cemetery in St. Edward, Nebraska.

Memorials are suggested to the Plattsmouth Rescue Squad.
