Naioma Jean Neumeister

Naioma Jean Neumeister, age 71 of Nehawka, Nebraska passed away peacefully at her home on October 26, 2025. She was born on September 7, 1954, in Imogene, Iowa, to Edward and Mary (Prudden) Johnson.

Jean was a devoted Certified Nursing Assistant at what was once known as the Plattsmouth Manor Nursing Home, where she served the community with kindness and compassion for many years. In her leisure time, Jean found joy in singing, reading, going fishing, working on crossword puzzles, and playing Keno. A fervent Pittsburgh Steelers fan, she also enjoyed watching little league baseball games. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved to spend time surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Karl Neumeister; her cherished children, Shelly (Ace) Richt, Shawn (Chrissy) Miller, Joseph (Kathleen) Neumeister, and Jami (Alex) LaRiviere; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as her sister, Juanita Hoyle, and brother, James Johnson.

Jean was preceded in death by: her parents Edward and Mary Johnson, son, Christopher Johnson, grandson, Aaron Morehead, and sister, Georgia Bartlett.

Funeral Services will be held on November 3, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home. A visitation on November 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with family greeting friends at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Nehawka, Nebraska.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
