Nancy R Larosa

N ancy R . LaRosa, 85, of Plattsmouth, passed away Thursday, November 21st, 2024 at the Louisville Care Center.  She was  born on March 15th, 1939, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to Joseph and Jean (Dumortier) LaRosa.

She spent the majority of her life in Massachusetts, moving to Plattsmouth, Nebraska, to be closer to her family in recent years.  Nancy was known for her work ethic and dedication. Over the years, she worked in various roles, including as a dry cleaner, cocktail waitress, and shirt presser, always finding opportunities to provide for herself and her son Joe.

Nancy is survived by her children: Joe (Leigh) LaRosa of Plattsmouth, grandchildren Anthony (Laura) LaRosa of Grand Island, Andrea (Josh) Arnold of Fairfax, VA, and James LaRosa of Plattsmouth,  great grandchildren, Emerson, Kinley, and Connor LaRosa,  brother, Gene (Lillian) LaRosa of Salem, New Hampshire, and sister-in-law, Carol LaRosa of Groton, Massachusetts .

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Joseph LaRosa, Jr., Josephine Cassio, and Michael LaRosa.

Memorial donations are suggested to Bailey's Pointe in Plattsmouth, the Louisville Care Center or Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, Massachusetts.
