Nolan C. Glup

Nolan C. Glup was born on January 1, 1987 in Papillion, Nebraska to Lanny and NanHui (Paeck) Glup. He passed away at his home in Bellevue, Nebraska on Friday, January 8, 2015 at the age of 28 years. Nolan grew up in Plattsmouth and graduated from Platteview High School with the class of 2005. During his High School career, he was a State Champion Wrestler and an All State Football Player. He currently worked at the Golden Living Center in Plattsmouth. He lived a simple life and made the best of the things he had. He always found enjoyment with the people he was around and always had a great sense of humor, quick with a joke. His love for wrestling inspired him to do some training as an ultimate fighter. He was an all around sports fan and enjoyed watching and participating in various events. Spending time with family, especially his nieces and nephew, who referred to his as “Uncle No No”. In his free time he also enjoyed drawing. He is survived by his parents, Lanny (Lori) Glup of Plattsmouth, NE; Nan (Bill Tamisiea) Glup of Bellevue, NE, Brother, Nathan (Brittani) Glup of Bellevue, NE, Sisters, Susie (Randy) Fredericks of Elkhorn, NE; Norrisa Richardson of Bellevue, NE. Step-sisters, Amanda (Phil) Cusic of LaVista, NE, Andrea Baker of Grand Island, NE. Grandmother, Delphine Glup of Plattsmouth, NE. Also survived by 6 Nieces, 1 Nephew, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. He was preceded in death by his Grandfather, Carl Glup and Grandmother, Kyung Ja Lee. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Lutheran Church in Plattsmouth with Rev. Lloyd Stuhr officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
