Patricia Everett age 85 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away peacefully at her home in Plattsmouth on Sunday, Sept. 27 2020.  She was born in Wichita, Kansas on February 1, 1935 to Leo James and Fern Kathleen (Eckhardt) Walters.

Patricia was raised in Wichita and graduated from Wichita High School.  She enjoyed dancing as a young adult and then became a wonderful mother and homemaker.  Patricia was active with her children, becoming a Girl Scout Leader, PTA member.   During her adult life she worked as a hostess/waitress.  She would fill her time with sewing, cooking and became the hub for family and friends to come enjoy food and home.

Survived by children:  Toby Payne – Manassas, VA, Tory (Hilton) Newman – Wilmington, NC, Tara Everett; Grandchildren:  Christopher Payne, John Payne III, Marshall Newnan, Addison Newnan, Emily Newnan, Cody Swingholm-Bell; Brother:  Jim Walters – Wichita, KS

She was preceded in death by Wichita, KS parents, Leo and Fern Walters, brother, Edgar (Rita) Walters, husband, Robert Swingholm.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Pastor Raymond Wicks officiating.
