Patricia A Sacco

Patricia Ann Sacco age 77 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away peacefully while surrounded by family to be with her beloved husband Fred on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.  She was born on September 13, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska to Arthur and Sylvia (Krulis) Harder.

Pat grew up in South Omaha and graduated from South High School in 1960.  She met Fred W. Sacco and the two were united in marriage on September 5, 1964 in Omaha.  While living in Omaha, Pat was a stay at home mom, however when Pat and Fred moved to the Plattsmouth Area in 1980 she quickly became involved in the community.  While her son Fred attended Stull School, she volunteered in their classrooms and on the PTA and school board.

Pat managed their friends’ doughnut shop (Paul’s Pastries) and also taught ceramics. She later became the local Shelter Insurance Agent in Plattsmouth for many years.  Pat caught the career bug and took a position at Mutual of Omaha which quickly led to her exciting work as a Medicare Fraud Investigator. She was also an active member of the Platte Valley Chapter of ABWA

She is survived by her children, Angel Sacco of Omaha, Patty (Curt) Krueger of Plattsmouth, Fred A. Sacco and significant other Maureen Swoboda of Omaha,  4 grandchildren Alex Jankowski, Gillian Krueger, Lauren and David Foster, 2 gr. Grandchildren Lucille and Harrison; brother Richard Harder of Louisville, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Art & Sylvia Harder, husband, Fred W. Sacco and brother, Bill Harder.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel, 1408 8 ^th Avenue, Plattsmouth, NE with Rev. Bud Bunn officiating.

There will be no visitation or viewing.

Memorials may be directed the Nebraska Anatomical Board of Omaha, Nebraska.
