Paul E Brown

Paul was born on October 21, 1941 in Iowa to Paul R. and Ruth (Jones) Brown. He passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 74 years and 20 days. He lived in Plattsmouth most of his life and was a member of the class of 1959. He was united in marriage on May 7, 1965 to Vana Elshire at the First United Methodist Church in Plattsmouth. Together they raised one daughter, Paula. He worked as an electrical contractor in various locations throughout his career. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, golfing, listening to music (especially Elvis Presley) and drinking wine. Paul is survived by his daughter, Paula Sorensen and husband Michael of Omaha, NE; brother Jerry Brown of Chico, CA; half sister, Patty Campbell of AZ, half brothers, Mark Pelzer of Omaha, NE and David Pelzer of Las Vegas, NV. He is also survived by numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Vana and half sister, Karen Bennett. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Eagles Club, 209 S. 23rd Street, Plattsmouth, NE with Rev. Lane Bailey officiating. No Visitation.
