Penelope L Moore

Penelope L. Moore age 68 of Plattsmouth passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at the Bellevue Medical Center.  She was born on January 9, 1951 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to George F. and Joann (Fitchhorn) Moore.

She was raised in Plattsmouth and graduated from Plattsmouth High School with the class of 1969.  She was united in marriage to David E. Moore on August 28, 1969 at the First Christian Church in Plattsmouth.  Together they made their home in Plattsmouth and raised five children, Shannon, Jason, Tae-Randa, Eric and Matthew.

She worked for the Plattsmouth Journal in the advertising department for several years.  She also worked for Kerford Limestone in Weeping Water.  She loved to travel and spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Penelope is survived by her husband, David Moore of Plattsmouth, NE, children:  Shannon (Carl) Hartley of Highland Springs, VA, Jason Moore of Plattsmouth, NE, Tae-Randa Moore (Russell Mares) of Plattsmouth, NE, Matthew (Tiffany) Moore of Plattsmouth, NE, grandchildren: Ashley Reed, Carl Hartley III, Arien Moore, Eva Moore, Tyler Moore, Jaiden Merrill, Dakota Kennedy and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Joann Moore, son  Eric Moore,  granddaughter, Alexis Moore, and sister, Vicki Brundieck.

Graveside Services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Rock Bluffs Cemetery.

No Visitation or Viewing.
