Rebecca Lynn Skovgaard

Rebecca Lynn Skovgaard age 64 of Bellevue, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at her home in Bellevue, Nebraska.  She was born on May 25, 1953 in Omaha, Nebraska to Leonard and Florence (Reed) Bashus.Rebecca was raised in Plattsmouth and graduated from Plattsmouth High School.  She was united in marriage to Jerry W. Skovgaard on November 16, 1974 in LaVista, Nebraska.  They made their home in Bellevue and Rebecca operated a in home day care center for nearly 30 years.   She was a member of the Living Church of God.  She enjoyed spending time outdoors and working in her garden.  She was a very generous person and enjoyed working on computers especially when she could help others.  She is survived by her husband, Jerry Skovgaard of Bellevue, Nebraska, brothers, Mark (Laura) Bashus of Bellevue, NE and Michael Bashus of Plattsmouth, NE.  She is also survived by nieces and nephews.  At the family’s request, there will be no visitation or service at this time.  Memorials may be directed to the family.   Online condolences to www.bpharveyfuneralhome.com   Brian P.
