Obituary

Robert Charles Grisinger, 74, of Plattsmouth, passed away May 30, 2026. He was born on July 31, 1951, in Omaha, Nebraska to William and Mildred (Haecke) Grisinger II.

After graduating from Omaha South High School with the class of 1969, Robert proudly served in the United States Army for over 21 years before retiring. After retirement he worked in car sales at Tincher, and as an armored car driver for Rochester. He also continued his commitment to service by working with the Eastern Nebraska Office of Aging, helping those in need reach their medical appointments.

Robert possessed a passion for life that was reflected in his hobbies. He enjoyed shooting and collecting firearms, engaging in woodworking projects, and savoring the thrill of winning at the casino. He was a proud lifetime member of both the National Rifle Association and the Disabled American Veterans Association.

Robert is survived by his sister, Linda Lane of Bellevue. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Thomas Grisinger and William Grisinger, III.

A graveside service will be held June 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Omaha National Cemetery, with full military honors.

Memorials may be directed to the Southeast Nebraska Veterans Home.
