Rodney E Kuhl

Rodney E. Kuhl age 58 of Carter Lake, Iowa passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at the Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.  He was born on November 17, 1962 in Council Bluffs, Iowa the son of Norman E. Kuhl.

Rodney graduated from High School in Council Bluffs and shortly after began a career with Thermo King where he worked as a Service Writer for the past 39 years.  He was united in marriage to Joni Baumgart on March 21, 1992 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska and together they raised two children, Tyler and Taylor.

He was a member of the Plattsmouth FOE #365 Fraternal Order of Eagles.  He enjoyed sports of all kinds including the Iowa Hawkeyes.  He raced and followed the modified dirt car racing for many years.  He was always available to friends and family to help in any way possible.

Rodney is survived by his wife, Joni Kuhl of Carter Lake, IA; Children, Tyler (Mikala) Kuhl of Carter Lake, IA, Taylor (Cody Volkert) Kuhl of Correctionville, IA; granddaughter, Rylee Kuhl.

He was preceded in death by his father Norman Kuhl and brother Mike Kuhl.

Visitation will be, Wednesday, March 24, 2021 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with family present 6:00 pm to 8:00 PM  at Harvey Funeral Chapel

Graveside service will be at Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth, Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. with Rev. Harald Rappold officiating.
