Russell S Sprague

Russell S. Sprague age 76 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at his daughter’s home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.  He was born on November 23, 1945 in O’Neill, Nebraska to Glen W. and Grace M. (Allen) Sprague.

Russell grew up in O’Neill, Nebraska and attended school there until entering the United States Army, faithfully serving his country for two years.  He was united in marriage to Crystal L. During on February 3, 1973 in LaVista, Nebraska  To this union was born 2 children Denise and Kevin. Russell worked for the Lozier Corporation for many years manufacturing store shelving.  A

He enjoyed his many animals especially when he lived on the acreage, watching Nebraska Football and most importantly spending time with this children and grandchildren.

Russell is survived by his  Daughter: Denise (Ron) Ridge also of Plattsmouth, NE; Son: Kevin (Brandy) Sprague of LaVista, NE; grandchildren, Andrew and Ethan Sprague and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Crystal and brother Ramon Sprague.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska
