Ruth Willett

Ruth Willett was born on August 11, 1929 in Tell City, Indiana to Clarence and Ester (Stevens) Poole. She passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Louisville Care Center in Louisville, Nebraska at the age of 82 years, 2 months and 23 days. Ruth was united in marriage to Joseph Carl Willett in Henderson, Kentucky on November 27, 1947 and together they raised two children Stephen Carl and Linda Kay. After making their home in Nebraska, she worked as an Executive Secretary for the Strategic Air Command in Bellevue, Nebraska for many years. Ruth was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Plattsmouth. She enjoyed bowling, music, dancing, sewing, crocheting, gardening and Nebraska Football. She could be described as a fun-loving and happy individual. She is survived by her: Son: Stephen Carl Willett and wife Mary of Plattsmouth, NE; Daughter: Linda Kay Vogel and husband Ed of Rowlett, TX. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: Parents, husband: Joseph Carl Willett (July 27, 1986) Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Dr. Allan Wooters officiating. The family will greet and receive friend one hour before services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Plattsmouth, Nebraska Arrangements by Brian P.
