Samuel E. Louderback was born September 1, 1942 in Archer, IA to Troy & Ruby (Nichols) Louderback. He passed away July 14, 2014 at his home in Plattsmouth, NE at the age of 71.
He is survived by his children Lisa Louderback of Plattsmouth, Samuel (Stacey) Louderback of Omaha, Jeri Louderback of Plattsmouth, Nathaniel (Morgan) Louderback of Garden City, KS, Nicholas (Jennifer) Louderback of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, brothers and sisters: Voly Louderback of Plattsmouth, Tom Louderback of Fort Worth, TX, Darrell Louderback of Lincoln, Lois (Dorence) Piepgras of Pascagoula, MS, Eva DeSelms of KS, Juanita (Glen) Kreider of Fargo, ND, Janice Even of Plattsmouth. He is also survived by numerous Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Glen and Troy.
Sam spent his working career as an electrician for the city of Omaha, NE. He joined the U.S. Navy in 7/23/1963 serving during the Vietnam War and was Honorably discharged on 7/3/1969.
He was known as a Viking football fan, enjoyed fishing, watching movies, reading Sci-Fi and doing Sudoku.
A Memorial Service will be held, Friday, July 18, 2014 at 10:30 A.M. at the Harvey Funeral Chapel, with military honors by the U.S. Navy.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the Plattsmouth Vol. Firefighters Association.
