Sharon Pickrell, age 83 of Bellevue, Nebraska passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the Bellevue Medical Center surrounded by love.

Sharon was born on May 9, 1940 to Swan H Swanson and Lillian (Johnson) Swanson in Aberdeen, South Dakota.  She married William J. Pickrell of Ottuma, Iowa on August 31, 1958, from this union they had four children, Clayton, Sherrilyn Brown (Rob), Michael and Douglas Pickrell (Mickie).

Sharon loved her family, friends, church, quilting, genealogy.  Sharon enjoyed all of her visits with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren throughout her life taking most to Sunday School every week, to South Dakota on roadtrips to see family and countless other memories...

She is survived by brothers Bernel (Larena), Lowell (Kathy), Chip (Marian) and Ben Swanson of Aberdeen, South Dakota, Clayton, Sherrilyn (Rob) Brown, Michael and Douglas Pickrell (Mickie), seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband William, sister Lucille P Erickson,  nephew, Greg Swanson and niece, Cassi Swanson-Bell.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 13, 2023, 10 A.M at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. Ryan Maser officiating.

Memorials may be directed to the First Lutheran Church.
