Shirley Marie (Hall) Wilson, age 85, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, passed away March 4, 2023, at the Bellevue Medical Center. She was born July 31, 1937, to Carl and Eleanor (Brandle) Hall in St. Paul, Minnesota.

On April 4, 1959, Shirley married Bill Wilson in a ceremony in Chicago, Illinois. Together they raised their children Deborah, W. Scott, and Pamela, eventually moving to Plattsmouth, Nebraska. For 19 years, Shirley served as an Executive Assistant for US West Telephone Company.

Shirley and Bill spent much of their time traveling, but she also enjoyed being creative through drawing, painting, and stained glass. She also loved to quilt, knit, crochet, and do needlework crafts.  One of her favorite pastimes was to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Shirley is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Wilson of Plattsmouth, NE, children, Deborah Wilson of Henderson, NV, W. Scott Wilson of Plattsmouth, NE, Pamela Roland of Papillion, NE, seven grandchildren, Alexa (Gage) Layman, John Schendt, Courtney Schendt, Casey Schendt, Taylor Wilson, Daniel Roland, Matthew Roland, one great grandchild Liam Layman, sisters, Patricia (Anton) Arneson of Florida, Carole (Claude) Bloomer of Wisconsin, Rita (Dale) Meyer of Florida, brothers, Richard (Joyce) Hall of Minnesota, Charles (Judy) Hall of Minnesota.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Eleanor Hall.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 10, 2023, at 10:30 AM at the Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Rev. William McConnell officiating (The service will be livestreamed).

Visitation will be held Thursday, March 9 from 5 -7 pm, with family present to greet friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, at 2:00 PM at the Cedar Dale Cemetery in Papillion, Nebraska.
