Susan Elizabeth Patterson

Susan E. Patterson was born Nov. 13, 1958 in Alliance, NE and passed away August 14, 2013 in Omaha, NE. Susan was married to David Patterson June 11, 1983 in Lincoln, NE. She attended college and received her BSN from Clarkson College. She worked in several local hospitals mainly in the ER department. She went on to teach nursing at Iowa Western Community College. She loved to witness to people and share her faith and being a member of First Baptist Church was very important to her. Susan loved her family and enjoyed watching her children participate in sports and was into fitness herself. You could find her walking, gardening, going to the beach, enjoying the cabin, grilling. Watching old TV shows and movies was another pastime. Life was precious to her and she was a great Husker and Philadelphia Eagles fan. Susan is survived by Husband: David Patterson; Children: Joe “Dayn” (Mary) Goebel Jr., Aaron (Dena), Fauna, Shayla, Aubreeann, Abram, Levi, Justus Patterson; Granddaughter: AuDorra Patterson; Mother: Allison Bassen; Brothers and Sisters; and Brothers & Sisters-in-law She was preceded in death by her Step-Father Tony Bassen. Visitation: Friday (8/16) from 6-8 PM with family present.
