Susan D Thompson

Susan D. Thompson, 65 of Plattsmouth, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, June 9, 2025. She was born on March 26, 1960, in Lincoln, to Charles & Janet Munson. In 1980, Sue married Mike Thompson in Lincoln.

Family was the most important part of Sue’s life. She stayed home to raise her two daughters, Jessica and Jennifer, devoting herself fully to their care. Over the years, she also nurtured and loved many dogs, each one holding a special place in her heart. Sue cherished time spent with friends and will be remembered for her generous spirit, big heart, and willingness to help anyone in need.

One of her greatest joys was spending time with her granddaughter Chloe. Sue treasured every moment they shared, especially when they were driving around and singing along to Chloe’s playlists.

She is survived by her husband Mike; daughters Jessica Thompson and Jennifer Thompson; granddaughter Chloe Anson; sister Yvonne Oziah; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Tony Munson.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday,  June 20, 2025 at 6pm at The DAV - 3901 N. 70th St., Lincoln, NE 68507.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
