Terri L. Bailey

Terri L. Bailey was born January 20, 1961 in Independence, MO to Billy and Esther (Chitwood) Wycoff. She passed away August 8, 2011 at the Bellevue Medical Center, Bellevue, Nebraska at the age of 50 years, 6 months and 18 days. On August 16, 1980 she wed Ward “Chip” Bailey, Jr. at Mynard, Nebraska. To this union were born 2 daughters Tabatha and Wendy. Terri graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1979. She worked for Mutual of Omaha as a Quality Assurance Analyst. She enjoyed shopping, camping, hunting and any sporting event. Terri will be remembered for being a loving wife and mother who was always there, strong and able to adapt to every situation handed her. She loved to quote movies but her greatest pleasure in life was playing with her granddaughter, Annabelle. She is survived by her husband: Chip of Plattsmouth; daughters: Tabatha (Robert) Sorenson of Nehawka, NE; Wendy Bailey and Fiancé Mike Montgomery of Bellevue, NE; granddaughter : Annabelle Sorenson of Nehawka, NE; Parents: Bill and Esther Wycoff of Deming, NM.; sisters: Christina (Bruce) Calvery of Basstrob, TX; Vicky (Kevin) Covey of Marysville WA; brother: Brian (Linde) Wycoff of Las Cruces, NM. Also numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by grandparents; and Uncle Wayne Chitwood. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Christian Church in Plattsmouth, NE with Rev. Michael Lincoln officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 1 – 9 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 6 – 8 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, NE.
