Terry L. Glup, age 77 of Ashland, Nebraska passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026, at his home. Born on December 3, 1948, in Omaha, Nebraska to Carl and Delphine (Hooker) Glup. 

Terry grew up in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, where he graduated from Plattsmouth High School in 1967. He went on to pursue higher education at Milford College for two years before ultimately earning his degree in Education from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

Terry dedicated several years of his life to teaching at Millard South High School, where he primarily instructed students in Mechanical Drafting. His passion for education was complemented by his entrepreneurial spirit, as he later transitioned to a successful career in carpentry, founding and operating Glup Construction.Outside of his professional endeavors, Terry was an avid enthusiast of history, antiques, and sports. 

He enjoyed engaging in friendly poker games and cherished the connections he made through these activities. Terry was a member of both First Lutheran Church and Church of the Holy Spirit. 

Terry is survived by his children, Carly Koppit of Omaha, NE, Johna Robinson of Battle Creek, MI and Molly Gilbert of Santa Fe, NM, grandchildren, Joe & Abraham Koppit, Miles & Levi Robinson and Landen Bouchard. He is also survived by his brothers, Carl (Linda) Glup, Rod Glup, Whitey (Leslie) Glup and Lanny (Lori) Glup all of Plattsmouth, NE and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Delphine Glup and nephew Nolan Glup. 

In accordance with his wishes, Terry will be cremated and no services will be held. 

Memorials may be directed to the First Lutharn Church or Cass County Museum.
