Tony D Supancic

Tony D. Supancic, age 85, formerly of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, passed away on February 21, 2025. He was born in Girard, Kansas, on July 23, 1939, to Tony and Madeline (Boggio) Supancic.

Tony graduated from Girard High School in 1957 and enlisted in the Army. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Pittsburg State University. He was married to Jennie, and together they raised a son, Kevin.

Tony worked in aircraft structural engineering for Boeing. Through Boeing, he also contributed to a special NASA project at Launch Pad 39A at Cape Kennedy. He later retired from Mutual of Omaha in 1995 as an Assistant Vice President of Property Management after twenty-five years of service.

He was a past member and president of the Plattsmouth Optimists and served on the Advisory Board for ENCOR in Omaha.

Throughout his life, Tony enjoyed the outdoors, actively participating in hunting, fishing, scuba diving, camping, RV living, and sailing. He and Jennie traveled extensively across the United States and toured many foreign countries.

Tony is survived by his wife, Jennie; one brother; extended family; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and his son, Kevin.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Harvey Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
