Troy L Crump, Sr.

Troy Linwood Crump, Sr. age 50 of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025.   Troy was born on March 5, 1975, in South Hill, Virginia to Jerry L and Margaret A (Halterman) Crump.

Troy was united in marriage to Dawn M. Hendricks on November 19, 2009, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. The couple shared  love and companionship that spanned 30 years. Together, they raised two cherished children, Troy Crump, Jr. and Kayleigh Crump.

Troy was a skilled and passionate truck driver, owning and operating his own trucking business, where he proudly served local businesses and individuals with dedication.  Troy found great joy in nature, with a love for hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing his guitar when time would allow.   Above all, Troy was an exceptionally caring and genuine individual.

Troy is survived by his  wife, Dawn Crump, his  children, Troy Crump, Jr. and Kayleigh Crump, his brother, Charles Harlow and his wife Angela of Pennsylvania, and his sister, Laura Hankins and her husband Kevin of Georgia, mother-in-law, Sandy Hendricks of Plattsmouth, NE.  He was preceded in death by his  parents, Jerry and Margaret Crump, his brother, Willie "Bill" Crump, and his father in-law Ronald F Hendricks .

A visitation to honor Troy's life will be held on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, with the family greeting friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
