Vertura "Vicky" J. Fitzpatrick

Vertura J. “Vicky” FitzPatrick was born on May 16, 1926 in Glenwood, Iowa to Arthur and Pearl (O’Neill) Evans. She passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Woodbridge Assisted Living Center in Plattsmouth, Nebraska at the age of 84 years, 5 months and 20 days. Vicky was raised in Glenwood, Iowa and graduated from Glenwood High School. She was united in marriage to Frank E. FitzPatrick on November 11, 1944 in Glenwood. Together they raised six children, Vicky, Connie, Cyndy, Kathyrn, Jeff and Bart. For more than 30 years, Vicky served the citizens of Plattsmouth and Cass County as a Real Estate Agent. Her career allowed her the opportunity to care for her family and help her clients realize a dream of home ownership. She was awarded the 50 Million Dollar Sales Award from Century 21 National. Prior to retirement, she was very involved with various community organizations such as the ABWA, the Plattsmouth Chamber of Commerce and was a longtime member of the Murray Christian Church. She is survived by her : Sister: Emsie Belle Hiley of Missouri, 6 Children: Vicky (Roger) Roberts of Weeping Water, NE; Connie Bogle of Plattsmouth, NE; Cyndy (Chuck) Hazel of Council Bluffs, IA; Kathyrn (Ralph) FitzPatrick of Murray, NE; Jeff (Kelly) FitzPatrick of Council Bluffs, IA; Bart (Tonya) FitzPatrick of Plattsmouth, NE; 19 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Frank FitzPatrick, Siblings, Lawrence, Artie Claire, Marion “Chick” Evans Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the First Christian Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Rev. Michael Lincoln officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Harvey Funeral Home with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
