Council Bluffs, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Hospice with a Heart in Glenwood, Iowa. She was born January 8, 1930, in Pan ama, Iowa, to John and Theresa (Daily) Mickels. Virginia married Frank Savick. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Theresa Mickels; husband, Frank; 2 brothers and 8 sisters. Survivors include 5 sons: Frank J. (Ronnie), of Council Bluffs, Paul C., of Plattsmouth, Neb., Tony (Deanne), of Ogden, Iowa, Ed ward (Janet), of Pleas ant Hill, Iowa, Michael (Susie) Savick, of Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m., with family greeting at the Harvey Funeral Chapel in Plattsmouth. Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., and the Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 29, 2013, at 11 a.m., also at the funeral home. Cemetery Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Rural Plattsmouth. Officiating will be Father Loras Grell. Family suggests memorials to Masses arrangements by: Brian P. Har vey Funeral Home.
