Wanda Joyce Hudson, age 79, of Plattsmouth, NE, passed away on November 17, 2023, in Plattsmouth.
Wanda was born on October 17, 1944, in Pasco, Washington. She moved to Plattsmouth at the age of 5, where she remained until her passing. She married John Hudson on December 29, 1967.
Wanda was a devoted member of First Presbyterian Church for over 40 years. She served as Treasurer for 15 years and was a proud member of the bell choir. Wanda's faith was an integral part of her life. She was also a member of several community organizations, one being the Election Board, where she served for an amazing 50 years.
Wanda will be remembered as a selfless and loving individual who always put the needs of others before her own. She had a deep love for her family and cherished spending time with them. Wanda is survived by her beloved husband, John Hudson, children Brian (Chris) Hudson, Jamie (Tina) Hudson, and Melanie (Jeff) Hamilton, grandchildren Nathan (Erica) Hudson, Zachary (Emily) Hudson, JT (Nikki) Hudson, John Hudson, Jayden Hamilton, Julianna Hamilton, Isaiah Hamilton, Josh Hudson, great grandchildren Benjamin Hudson and Teddy Hudson, brothers Gary (Sally) Jenkins and Rod (Michele) Jenkins, many nieces and nephews, and cherished friend Shirley Krueger. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Kitty Jenkins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20th, from 6pm-8pm at First Presbyterian Church in Plattsmouth, NE. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, November 21st, at 11am, also at First Presbyterian Church with a luncheon to follow. A private family burial service will take place at a later date. The Brian P. Harvey Funeral Home in Plattsmouth, NE, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Wanda's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched. The family would like to thank all friends and family who have provided support and comfort during this time.
