William “Bill” Duncan Langford

William “Bill” Duncan Langford age 62 of Plattsmouth, NE was born May 19, 1957 in Redding, CA to Daniel and Barbara (Wentz) Langford and passed away at his home in Plattsmouth on August 1, 2019.

After graduating from high school, he worked for the Forestry Service in California before enlisting in the US Air Force where he faithfully served his country for 16 years as an air craft mechanic rising to the rank of Tech Sargent.  After leaving the service he worked for Brown & Root as a construction supervisor working in Somalia, Rwanda and Hungry.  He also worked for a number of years with Wayne Molck building homes.  Most recently he worked for the Plattsmouth Bridge Company as a toll booth attendant.

Bill enjoyed spending time with his two sons, visiting with friends and supporting veterans.  He worked on many model projects over the years including trains, planes and cars.  He enjoyed flying radio-controlled airplanes, playing cribbage and celebrating holidays with his family.

Bill is survived by his sons Jeremy Langford of Plattsmouth and Paul (Miriam) Langford of Nashville, TN and a grandson Seth Langford, two brothers Robert “Duffy” of CA and John R. Langford of NV.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dan and Barb Langford and a brother Danny L. Langford.

Funeral service for Bill will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Harvey Funeral Home with Pastor Belinda Davidson officiating.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 6, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with family greeting friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at the Omaha National Cemetery, Thursday, August 8 ^th at 11:00 A.M.
