William (Bill) A Marks, Sr.

William A. Marks, Sr., 65, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska passed away at the Bellevue Medical Center Sunday, March 27, 2022. Bill was born November 10, 1956 to Bill and Jean (Beyer) Marks in Chicago, Illinois.

After graduating high school and attending college at Bob Jones University, Bill married Jennie Hand in Greenville, South Carolina in March of 1975. Together Bill and Jennie have two children, Billy, Jr. and Callie.

Throughout the years, Bill was busy as a restaurant Owner and working for both A&A Transportation and JBS Packing.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jennie Marks of Plattsmouth, NE, his children Billy (Mary Ann) Marks, Jr. of Plattsmouth, NE, Callie (James) Heitz of Omaha, NE, his grandchildren, LaCory and Daniel Gordon, Shane and Andrew Marks, Sophie and Bradley Heitz, his siblings, Steve (Mary) Marks of Atlanta, GA, Christine Stark of Springfield, MO, Janice (Dan) Torrence of Frankfurt, IL, Joann (Ralph) Napolitano of Romeoville, IL, sister-in-law Norma Zipsi of Blue Springs, MO, and brothers in law Robert (Doris) Hand of Marshfield, MO and Michael Hand of Lowell, IN.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Joan Marks, brothers in law Ray Stark and Wayne Zipsi, sister-in-law Cheryl Hand and nephew Bobby Hand.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Brian P. Harvey Funeral Chapel in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held Friday April 1, 2022 from 6-8 PM at the Brian P. Harvey Funeral Chapel, with the family in attendance to greet friends.

Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
